April Meeting
April 14th, 2010We have had about 20 members present for the
last three meetings. We feel good about the
attendance and hope to have others join. Our
next meeting will be Sat. May 1 at 12:00 noon.
January Meeting
January 4th, 2010We welcomed three new members to our group at the Jan. meeting. Our membership has now passed twenty after a slow start. We had a lively discussion about the future directions of both the National and Carolinas MG groups. We also dicussed some new way that might be used to reach newly diagnosed MG patients. Our next meeting will be Sat. Feb 7 at 12:00 noon.
Oct Meeting
September 12th, 2009We are pleased with the growth of our group, however some have been to a meeting and not returned. We would like to have them return along with any new menbers. Our Oct. meeting will be held on Sat. Oct. 10, 2009 at 3:00 PM. We will have Bar-B-Oue and Bluegrass starting about 5:00 PM. We hope all of the old and some new members will be encouraged to come. Your families are also welcome.
April meeting
March 27th, 2009Our next meeting will be Sat. April 4, 2009. Two new MG patients have made contact through the website and are planning to come.
Jan. Meeting
January 16th, 2009Three new members attended our Jan. meeting and several others have made contact indicating an interest. We decided to change our meeting from the first Tue. to the first Sat. of each month at 12:00 noon. Our next meeting will be on Sat. Feb. 7, 2009 at twelve noon.
MG Fundraiser
December 16th, 2008The Great Human Race – held March 21, 2009.
A 5k run/walk in downtown Durham to support nonprofits like the Carolinas Chapter of MGFA.

National MGFA Meeting
December 16th, 2008We are fortunate that the National MGFA Annual meeting will be in Charlotte, NC on May 7-8, 2009. It will be located at the Mariott Charlotte City Center at 100 West Trade Street. Make plans now to attend now.
