Central NC Myasthenia Gravis Support Group

The main subject of discussion during the May meeting was the relationship between the use of commonly used pesticides and MG patients.  Our June meeting will be on Tue. June 3, 2008 at 6:30.  A meal will be served.

The main topic of discussion during the April meeting was side effects of the most common MG drugs.

The April meeting will be held on Tue. April 1,  2008 at 6:30 PM at the Fuquay Facility.  A meal will be served.

Meeting was held the first Tue. in the month.  Discussions were about how we might get the word out to others about our group.

We had a meal and discussed stress during the holidays. There was also a discussion about blood sugar problems induced by taking prednisone. We decided to cancel the January meeting because the first Tue. falls on January 1, 2008. The next meeting will be at 6:30 Feb. 5, 2008. I apologize for the late posting. Hope all had a merry Christmas and will have a nice New Year.

The support group will meet on Tue. Dec. 04, 2007 at the Fuquay facility.  A meal will be served.  If possible give me a head count by Monday Dec. 03 PM.

The CNCMG support group met on Nov. 6, 2007.  After a meal we discussed and arrived at a meeting time.  We plan to meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM.  The Fuquay site has been chosen as a meeting place.  We also discussed setting up a web site and what information it should contain.   The web site cncmg.org is up and running. Please check it out and suggest any changes.  The next meeting will be Tue. Dec. 4, 2007.  Discussion for the meeting will be “Stress during the Holidays.

The CNCMG support group had the first organizational meeting on Oct. 22, 2007. There were 10 people present. We exchanged personal experiences about MG and agreed that starting a group meeting would be a positive move. We planned a second organizational meeting for Tue. Nov. 6, 2007 at 6:30 PM.
